Currently headed up by Frank Rawle, who himself was taught by his father David, we have gained a considerable reputation within the industry and are now widely recognised as one of the leading restoration companies in the U.K.

In particular, we have extensive experience working with cob buildings, which require in-depth specialist knowledge which sometimes sees us working alongside a highly regarded Civil Engineer who is a specialist in his field.

The house in the picture on the left is one that we have carried out a massive renovation using lime mortar. Lime has been around for a very long time and to this day, still offers the ideal solution to letting the fabric of a building breathe.

We specialise in working on Listed properties and liaise closely with Listings and Conservation officers to ensure the building is restored in the correct manner. We can also assist with Listed Planning Applications.
